New Here?

First Baptist Church exists to reach people far from the Lord and teach them to follow Him step by step. You can join us on Sundays starting at 10:00am for our Sunday School Classes for all ages or at 11:00am for our morning time of worship.

This section will help you find out more about First Baptist’s story, vision, beliefs and staff. What’s Next will help you discover how to move forward in your relationship with God at our Church. Our Children and Youth pages will give you options on how to get your children involved.

We are passionate about kids learning of Jesus in a way they can understand, so we have nurseries, Children’s church and classes designed especially for their age group.

We’re glad you’re here.

New to First Baptist?

Visiting any church for the first time can be an unsettling experience. Let us put your mind at ease! When you drive onto the campus of First Baptist Church, you will receive a warm welcome from a friendly church family. The services will be inspiring and refreshing. The preaching will be Biblical and practical. You will find friendly teachers, workers, and staff members that seek to show God’s love to each member of your family. Here are a few answers to your questions about what you can expect when you visit First Baptist Church.

When are the services?

Our main worship service is Sunday morning at 11 AM. Most people attend Sunday School at 10 AM and go directly into the worship service.

10:00 AM – Sunday School for all ages
11:00 AM – Worship Service
6:00 PM – Evening service

6:30 PM – Children’s Ministry
6:30 PM – Teen Service
7:00 PM – Prayer Meeting and Bible Study

 What about my children?

We love kids! Starting with our beautiful nurseries, we have something for every age and stage of childhood. During every service, there is a clean, secure, and well staffed nursery for children under the age of three.

For children age 3 through the 6th grade, we offer exciting Sunday School classes. Our classes are staffed with experienced, friendly, and well qualified teachers. Your child will love Sunday School!  During the worship service you are welcome to bring your children into the auditorium or to let them attend our fun children’s church programs.

What about my teens?

Your 7th – 12th graders will attend Sunday School in Youth145. The Youth Ministry is located upstairs in the Family Life Center. If your teen arrives early, they can get something to drink from our soda machine, play air hockey, pool or foosball as they meet some of our teens. After Sunday School, our teenagers are encouraged to sit up front with our Youth director and/or his wife.

What should I wear?

There is not a dress code at First Baptist. Our greatest desire is for you to feel welcome and encouraged on your first visit.

Am I expected to give in the offerings?

No. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope that you will find our church to be a warm, friendly church that glorifies Christ through the powerful preaching of God’s Word. We hope that you will visit again and again and that First Baptist will come to be your church home. Please don’t feel any pressure or obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
